Georgia Writers Museum

Curatorial Internship

Georgia Writers Museum is seeking a student or recent graduate to conduct research and produce written content about the lives and works of Georgia Writers Hall of Fame members. The curatorial intern will assist with the early stages of a new exhibition and publish content for the GWM website, social media accounts, and e-newsletters.

Students must be currently enrolled or within one year after graduation from an accredited college or university, with a background in history, English, museum studies, or similar humanities track. Excellent written communication skills are required; preferred applicants are able to write in a variety of formats, including narrative and short form (social media).

This is a virtual internship. Deadlines will be set in advance; daily work hours – excluding scheduled meetings – at your own pace. Internship is eligible for credit hours, per the guidelines of your school's program.

Writing Sample 1: No more than 600 words on any topic.
Writing Sample 2: 280 characters or less about a Georgia Writers Hall of Fame member.
Identify the writer (name does not count toward the overall 280 characters).
