Georgia College Museum of Fine Arts

Assistant Museum Registrar/Collections Manager


This person will assist in the daily oversight and preservation of the Georgia College Permanent Collection. This position reports to the department chair and falls under the direction of the GC Gallery Coordinator. The Assistant Museum Registrar/Collections Manager will be involved in the full range of registration and collections management activities. Responsibilities include the care and handling of object collections, condition and inventory reports, contributing to cataloging and collections documentation, and providing exhibition installation / de-installation support as needed. Best museum practices will be followed in cataloging a wide variety of fine and decorative art objects.
