Senior Director of Resource Development
The Senior Director of Resource Development is responsible for approximately $1 million of annual contributed income. The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and experience in a managerial position as a fundraiser for a nonprofit organization. This position requires a self-motivated person who can generate ideas and the plans required to implement them in a timely manner while being comfortable working in an interdisciplinary, team-oriented environment at the Chattahoochee Nature Center (CNC). The position manages a small team of staff in planning and developing all aspects of fundraising from foundations, corporate partners, government entities, and individuals. Hands-on involvement in a capital campaign is desirable. This is a full-time, exempt position that reports to the President & CEO. This position includes Company-paid time off; flexibility in schedule, health insurance package, and 401K within 6 months. Must be willing to work a non-traditional schedule including weekend and evening work, as required, to facilitate special events and board meetings.
